So what are we all about? Well as with all good things it started of with an idea, an idea in Italy, one evening we were eating some of the delicious produce we have here, the tastes were fantastic and we had not seen anything like it in the U.K....so we thought it would be great to offer these products to our friends back at home in the UK, so here we are....a small friendly business working with small local producers in Italy. We want to offer something a little different with new and interesting tastes, to food lovers who appreciate top quality food. In Italy they don't compromise when it comes to food and we want to bring that ethos to you.

Here at Calabrian Kitchen we travel around southern Italy and particularly the region of Calabria looking for these delicious local products. We eat and talk with the locals about their food, how its produced and the traditions behind it. We feel these people are the true experts.
